As a key leader of Synergy, Munir oversees the diversified portfolio of investments in real estate, healthcare, and various retail operations. Additionally, Munir serves as a Director in Business Development and Finance at CSI Laboratories, a specialized cancer diagnostics company. Before Synergy, Munir worked in the Asset and Investment Management divisions at Rialto Capital Management focusing on value-add investments and turnaround strategies for distressed and under-managed assets. Munir holds a BA in Economics from Emory University and a MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.

Malik is a serial entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience in the real estate and petroleum industries. As Chairman, Malik provides the experience and leadership that helps improve value for investors in Synergy’s portfolio. He is also the CEO of Synergy Petroleum, a sister business to Synergy Capital, and holds the same title for many other real estate holding companies.

Over the years, Malik has acquired and sold a vast number of properties in the petroleum industry, along with investments in restaurants, shopping centers, and other retail properties and businesses.
